ASBESTOS-FREE JOINTS

GASKETS FOR FLANGES AND JOINTS

Asbestos-free joints are created with material that is suitable for high temperatures and pressure, and which is predominantly used to produce gaskets for flanges and joints for the chemical, metal mechanics and food industries.

Depending on the level of temperature resistance required, they are produced by combining cellulose fibres and mineral fibres with NBR based binding agents (up to 250°C) or using aramid fibres (350°C).For even higher temperatures (400°C) and in the presence of vibrations, in addition to aramid fibres a graphite substrate is also used.

CATI spa supplies asbestos-free joints for custom designed joint gaskets or in rolls of varying thicknesses.
