O-RINGS

ELASTOMERS IN DIFFERENT COMPOUNDS

O-rings

CATI S.p.A., based in Venaria Reale, in the province of Turin, specialises in the supply of products for companies operating in the industrial sector, including O-rings for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders.

The composition of O-rings: at CATI S.p.A., we make use of compounds with NBR rubber, used above all for the sealing of conventional fluids. This is a very particular compound, with special features that make it very flexible and particularly suitable for use in mechanical processes , thanks to its ability to remain unaltered even when exposed to oils, mineral oils, water and radiator fluids.

O-rings are also able to withstand any potential laceration and abrasion.

Viton Compounds

O-rings with Viton compounds are characterised by a high level of invulnerability to chemicals, lubricants and heat and are particularly suitable for racing engines.

Products with Viton compounds can also be used in standard engines without booster kits which produce less power. In these cases, the reduction in friction offers the possibility of achieving higher rotation capacities. The O-ring cord is available in a variety of sizes, where lengths can also be customised according to your requirements.

RINGS, COLLARS AND O-RING SEALS

Our catalogue includes:

  • Rings for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders - static tightening seals (flanges - lids - taps).Available in NBR and VITON compounds; Silicon-polyacrylate and PTFE upon request.
  • Oil seals, sealing elements for rotating shafts.Usually available in NBR nitrile-based amalgam and fluorinated VITON compound.Other compounds available upon request.
  • O-ring lip seals .Applications for low or medium pressure single-acting cylinders and pistons.NBR Compounds - Viton polyurethane resins upon request.
